I saw this wee chap yesterday at the Honda Dreamscape while at the BIMS, didn't realise Asimo was quite so advanced, came on holding a tray with cups full of water on it, then proceeded to walk back and forth along a stage.. the only thing I don't understand is his speech, how does he speak? it is programmed in and he only says what is programmed in or does he actually have a vocab and can respond to human questions and gestures?

bloody bloody clever nevertheless and quite scary to see how far we've come in 50 years, just to imagine where we will be in another 50....

The latest Asimo is phenominal...can now run, at 6km/h! :0

I know it reacts to gestures(and faces, and environmental features), can't find anything on language programming though, so unknown right now......

Still, walking, running, jumping, dancing, conducting orchestras(yup, all this and more)...and of course, if you can't afford your own(a cool £half mil), you can always hire one(a bargain ~£84k/year)......

Asimo does indeed seem pretty amazing, I'd love to see what it's going to be able to do in 2015 or so...

Didn't look at the Accord, we went to find a new car for mama and an Accord isn't up her street! think she's settled on a LS460 until next time, then it's either a Flying Spur or a Quattroporte, roll on 3 years time!

I still think she should go all out and buy a Maybach but she isn't feeling my thoughts on that one, sadly!

I saw the you can rent one for a year for £86,000 but does that include a chappy to run it? as I would have freaking idea on how to even turn the thing on......

/is frantically saving an Asimo for a year would be the ultimate party piece!
