Hi Folks!
I have tried this with my T68i -->
go to the ringtone in my sounds and press the options button then go to send and choose SMS.
But, even though there are ringtones in My sounds, when I press the 'options' and 'send' I only get 'infrared' and 'bluetooth'!!
Please help me someone!!!

Wowowow!!!!!!
I asked such a difficult question that no one could answer!!
I guess it is because ringtones from the T68i cannot be sent by sms!!!
Amazing!! But if anyone really knows could they tell me?
P-l-e-a-s-e-!!

Goto Fun & Games > 4 My sounds > ringtone
while your cursor highlights the ringtone you want to send, press the Options key (right above the # 1 key)
Press 3 Send > 4 Via SMS > left joystick move and key in your contact person's name and send away! |

Scythe,
Thanks but that is what I wrote!!!
I only get send by 'infrared' and 'bluetooth'!! and there is no option to send by sms.
Any ideas ? I do send sms successfully from this phone so I know sms is enabled.

Maybe the ringtone is too big to be sent by sms?

That's a good point but to send by sms doesn't even appear as an option!
my software version is - R2B025 but maybe that is irrelevant!!

do you know that a software upgrade will do it ?
I know the software upgrade will allow full functionality of the MCA-25, or so I was told!

Yes, I have mms and can send successfully. The T68i is on O2-pay and go.
I want to send to my wife's T600 though. Would the My MMS be received by her T600?
Interestingly, I just downloaded via Wap three ringtones. Two versions of Axel Foley and heartbeat101. But only one of the Axel Foley ringtones shows up when I go to sms, write new, press options key and add melody!!!
When I write a new MMS and add a ringtone, only two, AxelF and heartbeat101 can be seen in the list!!
But I can see all three new downloads plus my other ringtones in the fun and games , My sounds!!
I want to send Top Gun to my wife's T600!!

Strange!!!!
I can send 'some' ringtones using sms. These have been downloaded via wap.
But some that I downloaded plus the ones that I send to my T68i by infrared do not show in the menu --> insert item -->melody.
The ones that I downloaded eg. Heartbeat101 and AxelF , when I check them in Fun and Games --> My sounds.... and then select one and hit options, I get
1.play
2.edit
3.send
etc.
I choose send and get
1.Via infrared,
2.Via bluetooth
3.Via MMS
4.Via SMS
But the ringtones that I sent to my T68I using the infrared of my pc...
do not give the edit options... i.e.
1.play
2.send
etc.
and only
1.Via infrared,
2.Via bluetooth
appear if you select 'send'!
Any ideas why?
