heres the story:
4 days before christmas and my t68i starts playing up, its saying no sim when i turn it on, so i think to myself ok thats wierd then it works! whilst its on i come to sending an sms and when i go onto write new, it tells me |"saved into unsent" when i haven't even got to writing anything. so that was even wierder, then my volume switch broke. that finished me off.
i took it off down to the carphone warehouse where i had purchased the t68i and told them about all the faults, unfortunately there mechanics computers were down(very approprate 4 days from christmas) so i was told to go to the o2 store where they would repair it,
as it happened it was nearby so i went and told them all the faults so they gave me a 3310 (argh) and told me itd be 5-8 days. 12 days later i gert it back check it instore everything works. get home and the bloody thing does it again.
"insert sim" and "saved into unsent" kept popping up like a curse. so back to the carphone warehouse with my dad on a mission to get a new one. my dad goes in and says "i wana speak with the manager"
so finallly he comes and they get talking he turns out to be a total arsehole and says he can send it away for repair itll be 14 days.
he says he couldn't give me a new one simply because they need to repair the fault first.
so now i am sat here with a trium mars!!!!! and no t68i for 14 days. where it is being sent off to god knows where. also the "manager" says when i told him the fault " its probably saying saved into unsent because theres no reception". and i was like theres full. so he says " must be a wrong setting" i thought gormless twat. its broke it needs a s/w upgrade or summat u retard.
so what i wana know is what the hells gonna happen, anyone else had any ANY of these problems with the phone or the stores.p.s i am in sheffield in the UK. and trium mars are pants!

I bought two T68i one for me and one for my girl friend, I was lucky I didn't get the faulty phone but my girl firend had the same thing "Insert sim", so we went back to the Sonyericsson store and they replaced it without any problem it was direct cause we are good client ..... heheheheh that's the advantages to be a good a good client and now her phone works perfectly

I feel ur pain.. damn 3310..
and if there is one thing I've learned from dealing with salesmen is that they dont know jack about what they r selling
hell, this one guy argued with me that the 8850 was triband and that the 7210 doesnt exist (well it shldnt, but that's a different story)
tell him to bend over so u can put his 3310 where there is no reception..
Nobody is perfect, I am nobody, therefore I am perfect

I have a similar problem
3 weeks b4 xmas I sent my phone was acting funny, "invalid mobile", "sos calls only" and very slow startup, I sent it back to the Vodafone store to repair, 1 week later the phone comes back with R2D 007 instead of the R2E, I thought that must be a good thing, also they removed they changed the languages in the phone.
I send to me self, as long as the phone works that's fine.
1/2 a day later the phone goes back, with strange Bluetooth errors, and now I am only allowed 2 notes, instead of the 10.
Now I have a new error it says Vodafone as usual on the desktop, but it displays a home handset that has an X over it (when that appears you can use the phone for anything except calls sms, and gprs
So I sent it for repair again
Now it came back exactly as it was, as if I didn't even send it, but I also discovered that it had few scratches, with a very slow menu (takes 4 sec's from desktop to menu icons) also few errors like gprs not allowed, gprs not registered ... ring tones problems .. etc etc plus the phone doesn’t always pick up calls
Good Shit, Bad Shit, It's all Shit

check this
im on me trium mars(unfortunately) and i came to writing a text, i went onto write new then i wrote it out, pressed ok then then selected send, so wat happens?!?
it returns to the main screen!!!, so im thinkin that mayb this part of the problems is sim related and nothing to do with myphone???
