I NEED HELP!!!!
I got a Sony Ericsson P1i last week, I used to have a blackberry pearl. My provider is Tmobile.
The P1i is unlocked so I donwloaded the tmobile settings from sonyericsson.com. The problem is that I still cannot surf the web, I don't know how to set up the email. This means I am paying 19.99 a month to tmobile in order to have internet capabilities but I cannot configurate my cell phone.
On the other hand I cannot access to the internet using the WLAN I have at home neither. I don't know what is wrong.
Please help me!!! |

Hi there,
Just an idea, you should check that the P1i was released by T-mobile
If T-mobile did not release the P1i then their network may not be setup (provisioned) to work on the P1i, so basically the network might not "know" how to communicate with a P1i
effectively then it will never work
other than try installing WAP and Internet settings, one lot of settings should be installed on your phone for each
don't know if this is any help, but I have seen this happen to people before

easily done. two ways, free call from your phone to tmobile and they will send the settings to your phone. OR, go to the tmobile website and look for data and web and there you'll find a device configurator. select P1i from the list and select your required options like internet, email, etc. |

Whenever I put a different sim in my P1 the handset askes to download internet and mail settings. Otherwise a call to the service provider usually gets an sms with auto setup configurator. |
