Hi,
I was wondering how you make the 'Tab Selected' or any other part of the theme clear? I see a lightly grey checkered background, and I was wondering if anyone had those pictures? Because there is no clear option in the theme creater.
Thanks in advance! |

Try using adobe ps to make clear image or if you want to make it blank just use search on your computer then you'll found clear.gif very easily or else use acdsee to resize any image to 1x1 pixel then you can use it as the blank template for creating your themes.

Picture editing programs that support transparency in pictures can do the trick. Though you need to save your pictures in .png format imo. Anyway Adobe Photoshop is good for that

Yep, Photoshop will work, also Paint Shop Pro (which I use). PNG is indeed the format, as it has an extra channel of information in the image called "alpha" that holds how transparent the pixel is. It can be anything from completely clear to solid and anywhere in between. JPG doesn't support this option, so when designing a theme I tend to use PNG for all components apart from possibly a wallpaper which will be JPG for static or GIF for animated.
