Dear C702,

I must say, we've had a good couple of months after your quad-band lured me away from the crappy reception of the W350i. However, there's a few issues that are pushing me towards taking the C902 out of the drawer.

1) The whole water-proof idea. What is that? While the rubberized paint and the industrial design feels very good in my hand, my thumbnail is tired of trying to twist that darn screw thing and pry your lid away from the O-rings that hold it so tight to your body.

2) The BACK key. What is that? You know I've had many other girlfriends who have a sexy little RETURN key. Your new UI is so cumbersome sometimes. BACK, BACK, BACK, BACK, BACK all day long BACK BACK BACK.

3) Bluetooth Slmluootooth. I'm not sure about the rest of your family, but your Bluetooth has a cavity. What is that? I'm kicking back, listening to Pink Floyd on my Bluetooth HBH-DS980 stereo head set and you BLANK me as my arm moves back and forth! "We don't need no ed BLANK BLANK ucation"...."We don't need no BLANK BLANK BLANK". Geez - and you don't give up either. The BT in my car keeps jumping in and out like you can't make up your mind. IT'S OVER HONEY!

4) Media Shmedia. Why are you so slow when I start looking through my media? You know, if I'm listening to Bob Dylan and I want to listen to Pink Floyd, it takes me forever to do MEDIA, MUSIC, ARTISTS, BOB, PINK BLAH. I'm waiting around all day! Oh and god help me if I just plug in my M2. That takes forever! Waiting... 0%, 10% 75% blah blah blah. It's too bad I grew up with PC and I'm affraid of Apple chicks, cause I would be down in Cupertino looking for iPhone action otherwise!

5) KODAK MOMENT!! QUICK! So I'm listening to Pink Floyd finally and the tallest guy in Japan is walking my way. Umm...BACK BACK BACK MENU LEFT LEFT SELECT ...."Open the lens cover"... OK OPEN LENS COVER OK ...take a picture... FOCUS FOCUS FOCUS FOCUS FOCUS... CRAP missed the shot! What is that??? You know I've had many other Japanese/Swedish girlfriends who jump right to photo mode when you tap the trigger release. What is your problem sweetheart! You are a Cybershot!

Oh well, IM ON THE MARKET. I'll be looking through the desk for my W800. I loved her so much! Even with her big fat DUO slot!!

for taking quick shot when listening music:

from media (music player) - press option - press keypad no.5 (minimaze) - open lens cover.

or, from media - press "call end key" - open lens cover

no need for BACK BACK BACK.. etc

for quic shot -->use infinite focus, no need for FOCUS FOCUS FOCUS..

may be u should read the manual book first and knowing your phone

i've got used to the battery cover on my mine, comes off easily once you know the trick to it, i have no problems with the back key. i havn't tried streaming music by bluetooth yet but listening to music though a wired headset it still cuts out & lags probley better if i didn't even attempt any bluetooth accessorys. It is annoying that you have to mininze the media player then open the camera cover, with my k800 i could just open the camera cover and the media player would automatically minize itself.

About the battery cover: I'm just a little curious: Why do you need to open the battery cover all the time? I installed the SIM card in my K800, inserted the battery and put the battery cover back about two and a half years ago, and I haven't opened it more than a couple of times since then; a few times when the firmware locked up and I had to reboot by removing the battery, and once when I left the phone for repair, and a few times when I wanted to use my SIM card in another phone.

Well I can see some of these problems with your C702 may bother you a lot, but I am planning on getting one, and not one of those reasons put me off. I guess its the different ways we use our phones.

I must add though, your suggestion near the start of getting a C902, well I don't think that will be any better. Most of your problems are A200 platform problems, so the C902 may be just as bad!
