Is it possible to recover a deleted file? |

Ok a few days ago I deleted a large file (a movie) from my computer and from my trash can. Is there any way at all I can recover it? Thanks

I had the same issue a while back, and here is the answer I received from Cyco.
It depends on whether the sectors of the hard drive have been physically written over or not. for this reason, try to use your computer as little as possible until you've had a go at recovering the photos using these recovery applications:

That page was just the first result of a Google search. There are tons of file recovery apps out there, I'm sure people will suggest others for you to try

also, download/install the program onto a external hdd/flash drive to minimize the risk of it getting overwritten

Used several diff programs and the file was not to be found Oh well thanks anyway guys!
