Can anyone tell me how to apply gfx patches?
Where to put the files into?
I downloaded a vista transformation pack.i know how to apply the vkp patch through setool2lite.but where should i copy the othe files with the extension imt?

hey guys please help me out yaar. . .
Where do i get the png files for the vista transformation pack? I downloaded it from topse.ru. Somebody try downloading it and help me out. Or just give me a link to a sysgfx patching tutorial...somebody please tell me...

Its almost 4-5 hours since i posted this. I usuall get fast response from this forum,within less than 1 hour. Is it because no body knows the answer to my doubt or is my doubt a real stupidity? |

I asked the same question on se flashing community in orkut. And somebody replied that just apply the patch and just copy the png files into gfx folder in other in phone memory.
I tried doing the media player gfx patch. I patched the vkp which had more than 9000 lines and it took me 716sec to do the patch through quick access patch. There was an accompaning png file which had all the images like back ground image and everything in a combined form.the png was named media player_preview.png and it also had the old media player stuff too.it was like a comparison image which showed me the old and the new media player images and i dont think that is the file i need it here as the gfx.cos it dint work... |

Dude i own a k790i R8BF003
And am sure i downloade the correct patch.cos the phone model and the firmware version was mentioned in the patch as comment. |

That is the preview image thats created along with a vkp when you make a GFX patch with IMGToolDB2020 showing the new and donor images and its for reference only.

Create GFX.ini at PHONE/other/ini
In GFX.ini specify the path to the replacing graphics
Example: [GFX_Folder]: /usb/other/IMG (!HIT an ENTER after the path!)
In this folder put your icons XXXX.PNG (XXXX.GIF, XXXX.JPG),
where XXXX - number (hex) replaces pictures

Give you a tip as i struggled to get this right!, in phone,other,create a folder called ini,( if your using elves or elfpack you might already have such a folder). Make another folder inside ini, called gfx. In this folder you must place all icons that you want to change. Open notepad on your desktop and write... [GFX_Folder]: /usb/other/ini/gfx
After writing this press enter,this will create a blank line underneath. Now save as an ini file, and name it GFX. Put the GFX.ini file inside the ini folder...So what you end up with is........... phone/other/ini/gfx (icon folder) and also GFX.ini ( ini file). naming stuff use normal txt or capitals as ive wrote them. RGA, any problems boysie will sort you out
