my poor k850i |

Hi my k850i is aking for a sim all the time even when there is already one inserted. i have cleaned all the contacts and the sim but still nothing works, i have even tried using seus, it flashes fine but still the same problem , i have been told it needs to be wiped and installed again but how do i do this ? is there any way of fixing this problem or is my poor ol phone nackered ? |

Yea have tried all networks and have even tried a brand new orange sim n nothing works ?? any other ideas ?? |

Could just be a problem with the phone. It will have a manufacturer's guarantee, so i would just take it back to the shop you got it from, and get it fixed/replaced. |

Well i bought it from a friend so cant take it back , i have tried diff sims on all networks . will flashing the phone with divinci fix this froblem ?? |

If you've tried a few different SIM's in the K850i its more likely a hardware problem
i.e. reflashing it using SEUS won't achieve anything
you'll need to get it repaired, can your friend call the store where he/she bought the phone and ask for a reprint of the original receipt?
then maybe you can get it fixed under warranty?? |

Your right maybe its a hardware problem, in most cases nokia old model phones have this problem.a disconnection between contact,soldering lead just worn out.
you must go to sony ericsson service center.let them fix it. |
