I saw a post stating the user preferred the Orange branding on the nokia n95 8gb, to the orginial on the main homescreen.
Personally, I don't prefer it more. However, I can see some people thinking the links it provides down the left side of the screen are more functional than the latest firmware. |

Indeed, getting starded with a phone you don't know yet, might be easier with branded firmware, all links are working, settings are right for this provider, etc.
But when you get to know your phone better, comparing it with unbranded ones, you'll see the factury firmware looks "smoother" and some functions might be missing in the branded one.
