After having a BROD on my girlfriends phone, we wern't wanting to wait however long Sony were going to take to get back to us so tried to flash it using Da Vinci (the same way I did my C902). The phone was apparently "removed" half way through and now when I press and hold the C button again to re connect it, theres a rid light behind the on button at the top :/

Is this the point we take it into a Sony shop and claim ignorace?

Jonny,

It's Sony Ericsson! Not Sony alone - Sony Ericsson is a joint venture between Sony and Ericsson...

In regards to your problem, try to reflash - if not - get your Proof or Purchase, and send the handset to Kuehne & Nagel in the UK...
Sony Alpha.

Every time I try to flash it, it just gets half way and becomes "removed"...on 2 different laptops now

Of to the Sony Centre in Cardiff to see if they can do anything for it
