Hi,
New member here... came across this board while searching for some help on my W810i, hope someone can help with my multiple problems So here goes...
The story so far:
I have a W810i, which I have been connecting to FMA via USB. It had made a virtual COM port and everything was hunky dory... until now. I have recently reinstalled Windows, and FMA along with it. Now for some reason I can't figure out how to create the virtual COM port on USB again (d'oh!). Apart from this, I also see that FMA development has ceased, and it's currently not where I'd like it, so I'm looking for something else that can give me similar capability.
My questions now are thus:
1. How do I create a virtual COM port on USB for my phone?
2. Is there some application that can help me manage my phone. I mostly need it just to archive my messages and phonebook
3. Will I be able to import the existing message archive from FMA (in .dat format) into this new app? I'd like to keep everything in one place
Many thanks,

OK, I installed MyPhoneExplorer.... but it also needs me to connect via COM port, so I need to create that virtual COM port on USB. Can anybody help with this?
