Hey, going through this form just to make sure I know what to do tomorrow and need advice on this bit;
It says:
Education and qualifications,
From GCSE or equivalent to degree level in chronological order
For that I just put my school, sixth form and college right?
Below that there's another box:
Postgraduate education or study or any other professional qualifications
Does sixth form and college go there or under the GCSE one?
Also if I haven't worked before, where it says previous / current job, shall I just leave it completly blank or put, not worked or something?
Thanks

Hi,
Can't you upload the Application form for us to see and give you tips?
it would be better to see it and get ideas for you to put on it

Good idea...I did try to scan it in, usually I get application forms via PDF then use a PDF editor to do them...That way it looks more professional, especially when applying for an IT job.
But it scans in way to bad so it will have to be done by hand.
Will go scan it in now though, be righty backs.

The 3 pages of the form are here:

Any help much appreciated
Of out for a jog now and will be off to bed as I have to be up early for a meeting at the job centre tomorrow, but will come home, grab dinner and fill it in then
Whilst I'm down town, I'm tempted to go down to Godfreys myself and just ask if they have any jobs going in the IT department and see what they say, that way I may find it a bit easier to fill the form in if I know what it is I'm applying for?
Thanks

Sixth form and college go under "GCSE - Degree Level"
"Post-Graduate Education" generally means PHDs or specialist training done after a Bachelors or Masters degree at University.

On the form it says to post the form to xxxx
Should I do what the form says and post it to the guy at the store, or would it be best to hand it in by hand?
If I post it, should I use recorded delivery so that I know it arrives?

Post it via signed-for delivery.
It shows that you care and want to ensure that you are considered for the job
You could argue that so does handing it in in person BUT, the instructions say to post it so...

Yer exactly my 2 reasons, but like you say, I want to show that I can follow instructions, also I might disturb him whilst he's doing something and the 1st thing he might think is, "I did say post it and not hand it in".
So I'll post via signed for later today.
Thanks

Thanks mate
To be honest i've had so many rejection letters I've learnt not to put all my eggs in to 1 basket and become hopeful, if I get an interview then great, If I hear nothing I'll just take it on the chin and move on.
