I have a K850i that was on '3' but I have unlocked and debranded the phone plus run the latest SEUS firmware update. Before I debranded the handset I had installed MSN and Skype from the 3 website but when I try and download them now I get an Operation Failed error.

Is there a way to download these two applications on to my phone?
Am I wasting my time trying to load these two applications now the K850i no longer has the 3 branding?

Thanks in advance for any help and for the person(s) that are going to point me in the direction of a post where these questions are answered I DID search the forum before posting.

Ok so 30 mins after I post I manage to sort out the issue.

For anyone that is interested the procedure I followed is;

1, Download this file

http://www.maxevans.pwp.bluey[....].R4710.LIVE.3UK.PROD.ENG.C.rar

2, Run the .jar then run the jad and follow the download instructions
Select replace data and overwrite the existing file(s)

3, Sign in using the other email adress option and allow the program to access the internet and receive messages

4, Bob is your moms brother, it worked for me.

Phone details are:
SE K850i formerly on '3' but debranded and unlocked
Latest SEUS firmware installed 1200-4399 R1EA037

Not sure what the reason is but I could NOT get MSN to work unless I installed the .jar and then downloaded the .jad files.

Enjoy

Hey thanks. I done the same.

Will the Skype and messaging still be free though?
