Hi all

I've had a k750i for ages - about 2 years. I want to upgrade but I'm not sure what to go for.

Primary need is a good music player. Camera is secondary but it must have autofocus, flash (LED is fine) and a lens cover.

Don't need 3g

I don't mind going Nokia/Samsung/Motorola/etc but I like SE so would prefer to stay. And get a good upgrade deal from o2

Any suggestions?

Thanks

@Technical expert: K810 is not walkman... It's media player is not that good in sorting music...

On-topic: you should go for the C702 as it has the media center (also known as walkman 3) in it, or go for a W960 (but W960 does not have lens cover)...

mate, I have just upgraded my 1.5yo K750 to a K800. I got a silver one
from my observations, sometimes it's better off not knowing.

K750 upgrade to K800 is worth in my opinion. But anyway the K800 lacks some features the new phones have... It's a bit old these days.

K850 have everything you need. (no surprise there)

quite cheap

3.0 + megabass

great camera (just look inside k850 picture-thread)

great sound (just use a pair of nice headphones and there you go)

great mediaplayer

great screen (best ive ever use/seen)

great Xenon flash (LED is crap compared to Xenon)

.................and beatiful

ps. K850 have the "same" sound as W910, (same 3.0-player)
(so for me i dont see any reasons to buy w910 with worse camera)

And a firmware FULL of bugs too

That's the biggest reason why most of the people don't recommend the K850 these days

buggs ????? have said this before, and i say it again)

of all thousands and thousands K850 who sells in the world, im sure most of them have full working phones with latest two firmwares.

ps. have never had some problem with new 037 firmware....works like a clock
(only 029 who was little "slow" in my phone )

so go for K850........its a freaking awesome phone (no surprise it comes from me...he he)

P.S. I don't say the K850 is bad phone... Just want to warn new users to beware of what can happen...

I dont recommend it unless you plann on having a paper weight somtime down the road. Ive been hearing about the touch sensative keys becoming unresponsive. With thoes 3 keys gone you got a pretty expensive & shiney paperweight!!! In my opinion The phone has to many bugs be completely satisfied with what you paid for. Suggest you look somwhere else or wait for a word to say the k850i is stable

You must be very lucky then, Plankgaten. I have read sooo many complaints around the net about bugs with the K850i and problems with the touch screen.

I have a K810i at the moment and totally love it. Not due for an upgrade just yet, but am going to give the K850i a miss completely.
