You have to convert your videos to 320x240 mp4. This way the k850 will play them definitely back.

Anyway here are two web sites where you can download videos.

I prefer 30fps 320x240 MP4 videos with 96kbits audio quality for my P1.

Using ImTOO 3gp video converter (though this software is not free)...
Sony Ericsson software/hardware support!

afaik, mpg is not supported. the mp4 must be with the specs above.

I think you can use M3 or Media Coder to convert videos for free... Works with phones imo...
