Hi all,
i have just purchased a kenwood car stereo (kdc-bt8041u) all works well.
got my phone paired up, the handsfree works fine all the time.
but the audio streaming over bluetooth works only the first itme u pair it. if u go away and come back, or turn off the unit the phone wont connect to transfer the audio and i have to re pair from scratch, this could get annoying having to do it every time i get in the car?
any body help?

Try checking the "trust this device" button... It just may work, but I'm not 100% sure

Unfortunately I've been in the same position with a Kenwood car stereo.
The problem is actually a bluetooth software problem with the Kenwood kit. Even more unfortunately Kenwood don't usually issue firmware updates for their devices, so unless they do, the only hope is that SE issue a firmware update which somehow improves the W960s ability to re-pair with the Kenwood stuff.
You're not alone though - Kenwood car stereos don't like the Nokia N95 either:( |
