Some people may already know this but I didnt until today and have had no problems with Play.com in the past. As well as their delivery time now being a minimum of 2 weeks. All items that come with a mains plug (chargers etc) will only be supplied with the 2 pin versions. This includes phones and desk stands. Their products are imported from Switzerland which is why they come with the 2 pin mains adaptors. They do not state this on their webpage and you will also have to pay more money out for a Uk version plug or buy a 2 pin adaptor. I know this because I took delivery of 2 CDS-75 desk stands today which I pre ordered from play.com. Upon opening the boxes I discovered that 2 pin versions of the CST-75 mains charger were supplied. I phone Play.com and wanted to know why as the 3 pin version CST-75 should have been supplied and it does not state on their website that the item comes with the 2 pin version. I was told that all their electrical products now only come with 2 pin mains plugs and if I'm not happy then return the items. I explained that the items were supposed to be gifts and I felt I'd waited long enough for them to arrive only to be inconvenienced by them supplying 2 pin CST-75 chargers. After making a complaint. I was offered a �3 refund of each item supplied with a 2 pin charger as that is the cost of a 2 pin adaptor. I did ask if it would be possible for 2 CST-75's to be supplied by them using the �6 refund and I'll pay the difference but this was not acceptable. I decided to accept the refund offer as they'd kept me on the phone for 25 minutes which costs enough as it is to an 084 number. Now I gotta go looking for some chargers at more cost to me I tried sniffing coke once but didnt like it. The bubbles kept going up my nose

masseur Joined: Jan 03, 2003 Posts: > 500 From: Sydney, London PM	Posted: 2008-07-04 16:31 I don't know about the 2 pin plug thing but I've ordered half a dozen or more separate items from play.com in the last month and all arrived in the usual time frame, i.e. within 2-3 days in fact just today I got the starship enterprise bottle opener I ordered on Tuesday, but other recent items were different DVD's and gadgets, no electricals though Unless I'm very much mistaken...
