Well, I've been using the Motorola HT820 and I'm not too happy with them as they're pretty bulky and sound quality isn't much to talk about. My main gripe about the sound quality is that it's as if the headphones weren't made to reproduce the higher frequencies. There'll be this disturbing hissing noise among the highs. There's not much bass as well.

Having said all that, I'm now looking for a replacement for them and the Sony DR-BT21G is at the top of my list. Any advice?

I would. I have the similar BT30Q clip-on version and they are LOUD and the battery lasts for hours.

Thanks for that, goldenface, appreciate the positive feedback. I've more or less decided on getting it, now it's just a matter of where to get it at a good price.

That's definitely a good choice, I've tried it before and the sound quality was remarkable. However, they really are too big for me. I don't usually carry a bag around and it'll have to fit in my pocket. The BT21 also has the advantage of being foldable. I'm only worried about the hinges being prone to breakage.

Yup, great choice there. Still, I think I'm going to get the BT21, have made up my mind now. Just trying to find a good deal now. Will update regarding the sound once I get it.

Are you using them currently? I can't wait to get them, yet I'm not willing to pay more than I should, so I'm still searching around for a good deal.

They eBay sellers don't look too bad. The ones I received came very well packed with the Sony security patch thing on them.

Let us know how much and where from will you? Also some pictures would be nice.

Sure thing, I'll take some pictures once I get it. Have not decided where to get it from yet as a couple of my friends are helping me ask their contacts for the best deal.

Yeah, finding the best deal is the best option imo... You know, some stores sell things more expensive than others... I have seen something similar, in the W800 era , the W800 had 3 different prices in our country. One was 20450 MKD, other 22000 and the third was 24990... So people who were not informed, payed more .

I've managed to get the best deal now. One of my friends is looking for a Sony MP3 player and the NWZ-A826K/B seems like a really good deal.

As he doesn't need the supplied DR-BT21G, I've offered to buy them from him at a third of the price of the Walkman. It's a really good deal as I'll be paying slightly less than two thirds of the retail price of the DR-BT21G. Once I get hold of it, I'll let you guys know if I'm happy with it.

I've bought the DR-BT21G from my friend. Sound quality's better than the Motorola HT820 I've been using. However, it's really nothing to shout about. Performs decently and at the price I paid, I think it was worth the money. Had I paid the standard retail price for it, I might have felt a little disappointed. Bass is there, but not very strong. There's no distortion in the highs. In fact, the highs were a little too sharp for me. Bluetooth connection was alright, but when I was walking, there was a couple of times when my music froze. I wasn't sure if it was the connection or the buffering. I might have more to add when I get home to my computer.
