needing a new phone, suggestions? please |

Hi all,
I need a new phone! Currently i use a P990 as my main phone, and my old W800 as my back up, smaller unit..
I was thinking about a G900, but as far as i can tell it might be released to UK carriers (i'm on O2) sometime this decade?
Now i listen to music a lot, and have noticed my W800 is much louder than my P990.. So..
I'd like a phone with decent volume.. (W800 being my benchmark), so i'm thinking perhaps a W890? or Samsung Soul (the B and O music stuff sounds interesting!? anyone used one?
The other thing is, i do like my P990 touchscreen, and the office/excel functions are fairly handy..
Would prefer to stay with Sony, but after 4 in a row, and the truly amazing W800, they seem to have dropped the ball..
So advice, views, anyone please?

How about the W960? Sounds to me like it suits all your needs

I did consider the W960, my friend has one, but it just seemed like a tarted up P990 to me.. I realise that seems a little unfair, but i'd prefer something a little smaller, the G900 seemed like the perfect compromise, but it just isn't available in the UK, and even on release will take ages to come down to a sensible price (on a contract, without paying a fortune each month).. and Just checked O2, they only have W890 in brown... and brown isn't a phone colour to me.. |

Sorry, i realise its bad form to reply to one's own post, but i just came accross the W760..
Might this be the handset i'm looking for?
