I need a little help and info about P1 connection to internet via bluetooth... Because my bluetooth adapter is CRAP and doesn't support any software except the microsoft bluetooth provided one, I have NEVER succeeden connection my phone to Bluetooth PAN (tried with K800, K810, W580, P990, W880 and my P1 now)... and NO SUCCESS...
So my adapter worked fine with the sony ericsson java SDK and I used that to access internet with my K800 (and w800 too), so the question is: Is there any software like java SDK that could connect the P1 apps to internet?
any info would be very appreciated

I have folowed thousands of tutorials and it simply DOES NOt work ... I don't know why ... I'm doing EXACTLY as the tutorial shows... But it will do everything except success...
The PC connects to my phone, it shows new connection established, but the phone wouldn't open web pages... I have tried many applications, but none of them work...

create a new account instead of the one(s) you had.

what PC are you using? if it's a sony vaio, that could be an issue. |

No it is not sony vaio... It is unbranded PC. a desktop one... I have folowing configuration:
2.2 Ghx Celeron CPU (overclocked to 2.5GHz)
768MB RAM
Ati Saphire X1650 256MB graphic card
GA-8PEMT4 motherboard
400GB HDD
That's my configuration...
Now here I have one confusion... Some years ago (using the same PC) I installed Widcomm bluetooth drivers and they worked with my BT dongle... But those days, I had W800 so PAN was useless to me, as it does not supports PAN... Then I upgraded to Windows XP SP2 (previously I was using SP1), and the Widcomm drivers stopped working with my dongle... I know this is common issue with SP2, tried to solve this problem but NO SUCCESS... Folowed so many guides countless times, and never succeeded... So what do you think of this: Will my BT dongle and PAN work with Widcomm drivers and P1 if I go back to XP SP1 or not?

Can you connect to your P1 with bluetooth using the PCSuite?
Bluetooth PAN is not used for a modem connection, serial bluetooth connection is required.
P990i: A mistake, a curse and a disgrace So I lowered my expectations and settled for a P1i. I couldn't keep my expectations so low for a long time so now I have an HTC Touch HD |
