hi guys! new to this forum, wondered if u could help me with my w880i. basically yesterday it kept turning itself off (which i know is a known problem with it) but its done it a few times before so i didnt think anything of it.
anyway i tried turning it back on after about the 5th time of turning off, and the backlight didnt work, and looking really closely at the screen i can see the signal bar, the battery monitor and the 2 logos for normal and flight mode, but next to them there are random letters in a really small font. so anyway i decided to press select and the phone started, then the backlight came on and just displays a load of random letters in a really tiny font!! and then after a few secs the backlight will go off again, and come on randomly. i got my friend to ring the phone and it does the default ringtone (not the one i have defined) and i can answer and talk etc but the whole phone seems completely messed up!! | |

Try reflashing your main firmware through XS++3.1, search www.se-nse.com ,there are lots of guides.
