What frequencies do the networks in India run on?
e.g. Airtel Maharashtra - 1800mhz
What do the main networks and in which state do they run on?
Vodafone?

I am particularly interested in Maharashtra, but info on other states is also very useful.

any way i think the answer will wander in 900 and 1800.usually 1900 is narrated with countries like US |

Boyish Curiosity ?
The reason I ask is because 900mhz usually consumes less battery power.
I already have a Airtel Maharashtra card and I get network congestion quite frequently.
I am looking at getting another connection, hopefully on a network that operates on the 900mhz frequency so that I can compare performance between the two. |
