If there are 2 similar numbers for ex 984502131 and 994502131 and you saved 1 ie 984502131 as XYZ and you dial 994502131, it will say calling XYZ lol.
Very weird.
This happened on a K750i and a Nokia . Tried on a W910i , but not work on it.
Anyone else had this problem?

Well I’ve face this problem. I have two lines from different operator but last 8 digits are same like 017XXXXXXXX and 016XXXXXXXX. Most of people save my number 017XXXXXXXX. When I call them from 016 then show my name on their mobile as saved contact but also show 016number and they ask me all the time, what’s going on why it show 6 instead 7. This is problem normally occur in Nokia. I think phonebook normally takes last 6/8 digits to check contact. That’s why it shows. But it’s not happen on newer sonyericsson sets. | |
