Will this work?
Game from SE phone -> move to MS-> copy from MS to other memory card (i.e. MicroSD)-> install game from MicroSD onto other phone.... | |

If the other phone with MicroSD is Samsung or Lg can not install the game.

You cannot do this, period. When you move to memory stick, it does NOT move the installer, it moves the game data. To install from phone to phone, you would have to store the java installer to the card. I do this, since I have enough room on my card. Sometimes, some games allow you to pull the game data with a file manager, like the one in the modded Opera Mini, but more often than not, it won't work. Sorry...

A. impossible, or
B. does one only need a card with enough room to pull the installer + the game data?
I'm a little confused by your answer... seems like there's a way that just requres resources (modded opera mini + card w. sufficient room -4gb? 8gb? what's "enough room"? If there's a method orchance at least point me to a walkthough so I can try it. What have I got to lose? Either way, I can't play the game right now anyway....

He means : A.
He's saying that Opera mini allows you to copy/move some game data, along with the installer (for example a savegame).

No, I'm not.
A) The best and most guaranteed way to get a game to work is to put the java installer onto your card, in an area where you won't mix it up with anything. Thus, when someone plays a game and wants to get the game from you, you can simply send the game over.
Please note though, when you send it over, it will INSTALL THE GAME, it will NOT transfer the installer over themselves. If you want to give them the installer, you will have to get to a computer and transfer the installer that way.
Also, you can transfer the installer via a computer, to their card, and they can install it straight from the card, without losing the installer itself.
B) Some file managers (like Moby and the modded Opera) will allow you to view the contents of your java apps, and sometimes you can find the main data file of the java app. Sometimes you can copy this file to your card, and it when you send it to another person, it will install the app/game on their phone. You can be sure it'll work by seeing if it will install on your phone first (if it does work, it will inform you that it already exists, and will ask you if you want to overwrite and keep the data, so you don't have to worry about losing anything).
THIS DOES NOT ALWAYS WORK. The first method is guaranteed.

Good grief boy, did you even read what I wrote? Yes, SOME games (a VERY SMALL few) will allow you to pull the "installer" from the game data on your phone. Very few games/apps allow you to do this, but yes, SOME can be done this way.
Edit: In addition, the reason why I mentioned the other way was that is the only failsafe way to do it. I know exactly what he was talking about.

so essentially, the next time I get a game, my original download should be to my PC, and then I should farm it out from there to my card(s) and then to whatever phone(s). | |
