Hey guys,

since this morning I've been having trouble with my K850i. I took it off charge this morning and attempted to turn it on. The keypad lights up as does the light around the camera lens but the screen stays blank. These lights continue to stay lit and I can only turn off the phone by removing the battery.
I rang SE and they said to try updating the firmware on the phone. The update service told me that I have the latest firmware but I tried updating anyway. It hangs at 0% and then says it has failed :'(

Any ideas on what else I can try? Last resort is sending it back to get repaired which will probably take weeks :|

I think you go BROD mate (Blue Ring Of Death)
A common problem with some firmwares on the k850.

Here you can read and get it explained yourself:

Yep, same thing. Try to reflash your phone. Can be done with A2.
