Hey,
I've got my k850 and hge-100, got some satelite coverage. WHen I take a photo now with it plugged in it stored my longitude and latitude. If so, what program can i view my photos and where i took them, thanks

Picasa in combination with Google Earth is good, and its free.

Hi harry20larry,

I'm not quite clear on the first part of your question. Are you asking if you can geotag pics with the K850 or saying that you can? If you're asking I'd say no I don't think it can, but if you’re saying it can - I'd like to ask you how you do it as I'd find that really useful!

i've really got 2 questions:
1. When I take a picture with my k850 when my hge-100 is plugged in, will it save geotagged data to the exif
2. What is the best software to view the geotagged images with (piscasa as someone has said)

Use trekbuddy + geosetter

Thats what I use... google it, theres LOTS of information available

Thanks RLP06, I've taken a look at trekbuddy is just what I'm after. Have you managed to get the snapshot working - I just get an error saying can't open app?

I dunno what snapshot is, I just record the .gpx file and sync it with geosetter, works great....

No, the HGE-100 doesn't do that automatically.

Not sure, but in Nokia there's another application called Locr, which does the same.
