Need help making a decision (C702 or P1i) |

I didn't know whether to put this into to general or symbian topic areas, but here we go.
I'm having a real battle thinking about a replacement for my K850 (its showing its age at 6 months) and i've got it down to these two phones.
They both have the same camera resolution ( i know its lower than my K850, but MP's aren't the be all and end all) and i'm happy with that, now i don't know what i want more. I'll be buying the C905 when it comes out, but i need something to hold out till then.
The P1i has:
- A bigger, touchscreen
- Wi-Fi
- QWERTY Keyboard
- Possibility of GPS with the enabler (i think)
The C702 has:
- Water and dust resistance
- Imporved A200 platform from K850 (i hope)
- Built-In GPS
I can get both of them for £229.00 now too.
I would like some opinions on the phones to see if i can make a decision.
Many thanks for your help.

Eh, I'd get the C702. Why? Well, for starters, the P1 has the old version of UIQ 3.0 (without those figer-friendly icons, shortcut bar and media menu) and I don't like UIQ that much anyway. A200 is easier to use. |

I'd also go for the c702, it i sturdy and as a good cam, gps, sweet media centre, the works. Pricewise you can get it a bit cheaper, one can get this for around 150 on PAYG O2 with a trade-in of any old phone but it will be locked, don't know how much an unlock costs Or you can wait till the CPW has it, so you can a vanilla handset, which is what I'm doing
Tho I might get another k800i to fill the time when CPW stocks the c702. I can't be botherted with the k850i and its many problems.

For those who believe no explanation is necessary, For those who don't none will suffice |

Also, can anyone confirm that the GPS enabler works with the P1i?

just my opinion,
i prefer W960 over P1i, coz the fact that it handles "touching the screen" lots better, due to its flushed screen, handwritting recognition is not a problem as well but lacks the keyboard, the P1i boasts
so at the moment, i prefer C702
yes P1 is a smartphone, but i think what's installed is also installable in the java based device, things getting boring now as i don't know what else to install. another point, it's the old UIQ 3.0 and no refinement or whatsoever. as a matter of fact, the A200 has a better SMS handling too

I would also go for C702 because of the improved A200 platform and it will be easy to upgrade from C702 to C905 then P1 to C905 its just me but i had a big problem trying to get my backed up contacts and calendar entry from my computer of P990i to my K790i unless u transfer them via bluetooth any other way is not possible i still cant get access to my backed up P990 content with out a P990 phone connected to the computer. Good thing i made a back up of old contacts on K790 so i just used that and updated it

@jakontil: If you prefer W960 over a P1, wouldn't it be better to get the P1 installed the W960's Walkman player and have a W960 with qwerty keyboard?
