Yo. I have never recieved 3g reception where i live, but recently in certain places i keep getting the 3g symbol appear. Is that a gud indication that o2 may be updating my area for 3g or is there another reason for it?

I think they've been doing a lot of updating lately, I'm suddenly getting not only a 3G signal but a 3.5g (HSDPA) signal wherever I've had a 3G one! I'm also getting Edge in a lot of places where I'm not getting 3G. Think they're massively improving their coverage now that they've got the iPhone contract!

Where i live i have had solid 5 bar 3G coverage on O2 for 2 years. Its solid on my K800i and never fluctuates even downstairs. Its fast but not always reliable. |
