Hi,
I just got my T68i from T-mobile. THe software version is R3E002. Is that old and if so what should I do?

are you experiencing any problems with your current firmware? unless you do, an upgrade is not necessary.

R6A012 is the latest release. Maybe the will release R7Axxx shortly.

I got a T-68 from T-Mobile over Amazon.com. Is it possible to upgrade the firmware to T68i's?

It's possible to upgrade your firmware at home using a T28 service cable i believe, as listed in the instructions on this page:

I'm going to try this myself .. eventhough I don't have any problems with my current old firmware...
