need help in installin opera mini 4.1 |

i had download the jar file from the opera mini website and transfer the file to my p1.the problem is when i try to install it the phone will say cannot read the jar file.why was that?anyone have this problem before? |

Could be a corrupted file.
Anyway, the best method to install OM is to point your phone's web browser to mini.opera.com.
And you should choose the version with multiple certificates, so that you can also make use of the 'ask once' option.
The download version fm opera's website does not have this feature.

You need to also download the .jad file and send to your phone. OM needs both files before it will install.

You don't need the .jad file, unless you have a prehistoric mobile phone.

you could also get the jar file from www.getjar.com thats where i got it from

Go to the opera mini official web page with your phone's built in browser http://www.operamini.com/ there you will get the right version of opera mini to download and install on your phone. |

i dont know why watever software i download from the get-jar website cannot be install into my phone.whenever i try to install it,my p1 will say cannot read the jar file.why was that?anyone can teach me wat i should do? |

i guess it should be as simple as browsing to the location os folder where you have stored it and selecting it - if its not working that way, either the file is corrupted or there is something with your phone. does this happen with all jar files?
