Has anyone tried to stream video to G900 (or any other UIQ phone)?

I managed to successfully stream my TV channels using VLC and DSS and I can get video going great on my G900 but there is no sound. I tried all possible audio encoders including mp4a.

The same stream can be played fine in a VLC client on a PC in outside network so the audio is coming out...

Thanks, it works fine with Orb for me too.

Apparently the sound requires AMR encoding which is proprietary format and VLC does not support it. It is, however, possible to include using ffmpeg but requires both ffmpeg and VLC to be recompiled with AMR support, which is hell of a job.

It would be nice, though, since VLC offers much more settings and possibilities and no 3rd party service like Orb would be required. If anyone knows where I can find pre-compiled binaries of VLC and ffmpeg with AMR support please let me know. In the meantime I use Orb.
