Um.. in c:\system\data\opera\Opera\Opera.ini there's a variable for "Disk Cache". I doubled it, and I think the strange "out of mem" errors disappeared altogether.

Can anyone help me test if this isn't something I just imagined (..better stick to multiples of 1024)?

I got that message only twice in one year and a half.But mine never lasts for more than 9 days, so I don't think it's Opera here. And I don't have that hack yet...
