Hi folks, brand new SE owner here, want to get rid of the awful 02 rubbish on my phone, is there any online services that deal with the c702 yet ?

seems like you have to use the davinci services.

Hi, thanks for reply, i looked but they are looking 50Eur which is a bit steep, at least i hope thats expensive, when it comes to this ! |

folks, iam sorry to be a pain, but can i debrand this myself ?
also what is semcboot, i have searched and seen answers but still no further forward !

Debranding is only 10 Eur at Davinci,did my C702 the other night. |

Folks can someone please help me.
When i hold down c and plug in the usb it comes up semcboot, i have tried different drivers etc, but no luck with anything.
Iam going to wipe all stuff from my computer and start afresh tomorrow.
Can someone please gve me an idiots guide to what i should be doing, i have the da vinci client, but it wont see the phone and the semcboot thing.

Folks, just got a c702, want to debrand it, i have installed all the drivers and downloaded the c702 usb signed flash drivers. I put the phone on and inserted the usb cable, the da vinci client says i need csca activation, i do this and then switch off the phone. I then place the usb cable in while holding C, the computer wants a driver called semcboot, but it cant find it, even when i point it to the flash drivers. The Da vinci client then cannot find the phone, and the phone simply starts up itself.
Also when i check the csca activiation by plugging in the phone, it says it still needs it and the credits havent been removed ?

Still on limited posts
No joy, i clcik that i dont have the disc that semcboot is on and say i will locate file, i click on the x86 file with the .sys file in it and it says that it cannot find the driver

I hope the flash driver is the same for the new platform A200  phones...
Anyway, the C702 cannot be debranded for FREE yet, but there is something I have been thinking but I can't get the needed info to solve the mystery  ...
Many people say that the next version of XS++ should have the support for flashing A200 (new platform) phones like the K850 and the W910... Anyway, does the C702 have the same platform as the K850??? If so, once the A200 flashing through XS++ is available, we should be able to flash/customize all our new platform phones... This would include models like the: K850, W910, C702, C902 and etc...
Any info on this should be nice

Hi jp321, was seriously considering debranding my new o2 c702 as well, could you tell me if flashing as restored google maps and wayfarer as well?
Mine came without google maps installed, and when I've downloaded it manually it doesn't recognise the GPS, just uses cell info, plus I can't add it to the location services menu either.

When you flash to generic Western Europe firmware it still has the Wayfarer & Google maps installed

Hi all.
I'm new to this forum, and also to SE phone (i own a N95 8gb as my "first" phone).
I would like to flash my C702's firmware. I subscribed at Davinci, but i'm looking for all the part of the firmware.
Where could i find it? (if it's not illegal, for sure).
SORRY : i found it. For all who don't look very shaprly, you must select SOFTWARE UDPADE and not CUSTOM FIRMWARE in Davinciteam software.
