I know that the 3G network is an "always on, always connected" network. However, I have a question. I always have the 3G, but until today, never had the globe (indicating network activity) always on my display. Now even when I turn off my phone and remove the battery and whatnot, the globe is always there. I've tried tons of stuff to remove the globe, but cannot. I'm not worried, as I have unlimited data, but was just wondering why the globe is now always on. Has anyone else experienced this with the k850i?

You're awesome, thanks. Yeah, I have push enabled, because of a certain e-mail that I'm waiting on. This explains it. Thanks so much. I didn't think that would do it, because I would have thought that the e-mail would have literally been pushed to my phone and it would have downloaded and connected then, kind of like an MMS, but I guess not. Thanks so much though! Now I know.
