Anyone know when the NEW PROMISED Firmware is going to be available on the SEUS ?

Also....

I have had SE Phones now for over 5 years and have had my C905 from launch (although I am on my forth phone).

Until recently and on all previous phones, when connected to the Charger, the 'OPTIMISED CHARGING' caption was displayed when the charger was plugged in. Now though, I am only getting the message 'CHARGING'. I have noticed a deterioration also with Battery performance.

Anyone know if the settings are selectable for the type of Charging or why it is not Optimised anymore?

I know this has been mentioned on here before and there is some links but no significant answers are explained. Can someone help?

I asked my Girlfriend, who also has the same phone, who also thinks hers used to say Optimised but now doesn't. She, for information, has had her phone since ealry January but hasn't had to have it replaced.

No one knows when the update is available until it is there.

I dont ask around, i just plug in my phone once each day and check with the SEUS. If itīs there then i will know. Itīs not that difficult

Today my memorycard broke in my 2 days old c905. Couldnīt write anything to it or format it. I dont wine about that because shit happens. Went to the store and bought a new one for 20$ and now it works fine.

A bit of a warning though, i didnīt notice anything at first other than when i had taken a picture the phone didnīt display the pic afterwards. It just went ready for taking a new pic. I had the option "display pic after taken it" activated. None of the pictures where saved and the phone didnīt warned me of this. So this could be something to be aware of if you are away on vacation or something like that and takes alot of pics..

When i changed to "save to phone" everything worked fine so i immediately knew it was the memorycard who was faulty.

Hi,

Does anyone know if you can create folders for text messages? I.e, different folders so you can move texts from different people to them? Can't see any options for creating new folders, but thought I'd double check.

Also, does anyone know what point or use of the categories are on the text messages?

Thanks

Having been in a bit of a communication with the SECC about a problem I was having accessing youtube & iPlayer on my c905, they recently wrote to me saying that the R1DA032 firmware has fixed my problem (which doesn't matter to me now as I bought a new router which works great already with youtube & iPlayer). Anyway since they asked me to write back if I had any other questions I took the opportunity and wrote back :

HI, thankyou for your response and positive news.

Please can you tell me approximately when the R1DA032 firmware will become available in the UK, also what features/improvements will it have ?

Thanks again for great service
Liam

To which was responded a day later :

Dear Liam,

Thank you for your response and query.

Unfortunately, as this firmware has not currently been released we do not currently have any further information regarding the updated features.

We believe the update should be available within the next month however we cannot confirm this as each update is network specific and will be released at different times.

We would recommend you keep checking with the update service as when an update is available it will automatically install this update.

^

The build quality is really good and I was lucky to find a Week46 model, so fingers crossed it should be trouble-free.

One annoying thing though is the T9 dictionary.

I seem to be adding the most simple words like 'started', 'dirty' and 'animals'. It seems to require more maintenance than the one on the K850i.
