I've had my K790a for about two years now...

I have always take off the center cap (where the joystick is located) and would clean the soft keys underneath the buttons. Well one day I had popped off the center cap and the cap broke. Since then I had used the phone without the center cap *I know that its concerning dust*. Now the right soft key does not function properly. Every time I would press the right soft key it does not do anything, I have to push it a few times to actually process.

Now that I got you up to date is there anything I can do to relieve the issue so I can stop losing my freakin mind!

Hi

You will need to fit a new joystick.
It costs about $1 , check out some local service guy that replaces this.

It's not the joystick that needs to be fixed its the softkey...what i was saying is that the center cap *the rim of the joystick broke* no part of the joystick is broken.

If you need to fix the softkey, I think the whole keyboard pcb needs to be changed...

P.S. look at www.cnn.cn for spare parts.
