Anyone know if SE phones allow for music to go through a music cable and calls to go through bluetooth?
I have a k790i the HCB-100 bluetooth speaker phone and a music cable. |

Yes it does. Have a similar setup myself. When you have a call the phone cuts the music out and sends the sound through bluetooth.

Well that is some damn good news, can you tell me how you have that setup? Right now when I have both attached everything is going to my music cable, calls included. |

I connect my phone to bluetooth and then put the music cable in. The music cuts out when i get a call and the call goes to my bluetooth. When the call is finished the music starts again.

I have 2 K800's, 2 W910's, 2 W960's, P1i, K810, C902, T650, 2 K850's, W380 and a prototype G502 and they all work as i described. The only sound i hear through the music cable is music. Nothing else. I take it your using the SE MMC-70 music cable ? That is what i'm using. |

Yes, I'm using the mmc-70 music cable and the SE HCB-100 Bluetooth Car Speakerphone, I wonder if my problem has anything to do with profiles. It doesn't matter what I hook up first, both will show they are hooked up but everything always goes to the music cable. |

OK, so it worked correctly today in answering calls and calling from the speakerphone, hitting dial on the phone didn't send it to bluetooth for some reason, will figure it out, thanks. |

On your phone. Go to Bluetooth, The into Handsfree/Incoming call. Make sure that you have selected In Handsfree.
See if that works

Bialynia: How was your first setup with the MMC-70?
That is what I want to have, that all sound goes thru the MMC-70, so I can get calls thru my carspeakers.
But I canīt get it to work , music goes thru the cable, but when a call comes in the music stops and the call is "back" to the phone (C702) the standard way, if I press sound -> speaker during a call, It goes thru the built in speaker, not thru the MMC-70. I can get it to work if I use a headset adapter (for example the HPM-75) and a cable wiht 3.5 mm plugs at both ends, but then i get a mezz with all the wires and cables. Maybe itīs the "design" of the MMC-70, just to handle music and not calls, coz when you plug in the HPM-75 a headset symbol pops up on the phone, and when pluggin in the MMC-70 nothing shows up.
But then again, it worked with Bialynias first setup...

Hmm, don't know what to tell you, I would go get myself an aftermarket one then, like this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/CAR-STERE[....]eNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem |

The MMC-70 is for music only and also acts as an antenna for the radio. There is not a symbol that appears when the cable is attached. |

Somehow my MMC-70 shows up as a headphone, although I have it so calls (thankfully) don't go through it now. |

Well that's normal for the music cable imo. It is meant to transfer only music, not calls and other phone sounds... Anyway, the phone recognizes it as a handsfree because it is some sort of . It only has the jacks to connect to another device istead of the earpieces
