Hello everybody!

About 1 year ago, I bought a M600i from eBay. It was working perfectly until my father accidentaly deleted the system files. I know it sounds stupid, but he just had to do it..At that time, I didn't know anything about flashing phones. But about 2 weeks ago, I succesfully crossflashed my K530i to a W660. Everything is working fine and I've applied alot of patches. Well, back to the problem. When I turn on the phone, the "sony ericsson bubble" appears and a sony ericsson sounds is being played. After that, the phone hangs for about 5 seconds and then restarts itself and does the procedure over&over again. I don't know how to reset the phone without entering the menu. I can't enter the menu, that's the problem. I can't do nothing. The phone is wrecked. I downloaded some files, but I don't know how to flash them. I've tried using XS++ - I load the file and it goes through 2/3 phases and in the third one I get an error saying "Header type:unknown", and then XS++ shuts down all by itself. Some people tell me to use SEtool. I open it up and see that I don't have the full version. All I have is the lite version. I can't flash a PDA with the lite version..does that mean I have to buy the software and then flash it? I'm looking for a free alternative..please help me out here. I know everything, just tell me what software do download&get and I'll fix it..buying things online probably ain't an option for me since I'm 15 years old and live in sweden. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks alot.

Does SEUS not work? If SEUS doesn't recognize it I'd recommend Davinci, google for "Davinci Team" and you should find them.

Ask in one of their forums before you pay out money on a credit, but they might be able to help.

SEUS doesn't work. It does recognize the phone but it tells me I got the latest firmware..I'd like a free option.

You should be able to reflash the phone with the latest firmware anyway, at least i thought so.

Im sure SEUS lets you flash the phone anyway, not sure how though.

I don't think it does any more. It just says "your phone has the latest software" and then gives you the option to exit.

Previously I'm sure it allowed you to go through the process even if you had the latest software but I think that has now been stopped.

Well I guess that you'll have to use the paid option then, unless you can get someone to help with XS++. I've never used it myself, but I have used davinci.

@pimpjuice

What's your firmware version and cda ?

The 'continue anyway' option is back and available, at least for P1i running GW1 firmware and
I believe that it should be available for M600 too, but maybe not for all cda's.

If you have an operator branded or country specific cda, you may change your cda to GW1 and try it via SEUS again.

On your standby screen tap 'more' and 'status' and read the lines starting with 'pda/organizer' and 'CDA'.
