Hi, i would like to know how current W910 users are doing in respect of the build quality and speed of the phone.

I ask this because i've read mixed opinions about the slider mechanism and the software speed...

I'd like to know if it's safe to buy a W910 from a specific manufacturing date on, for example 07W50....

Also, i'd like to know the current firmware version and if it has solved some issues like the (supposed) speed problems and crashing..

Thanks in advance!!

P.D.: Please post phone's manufacture date if you remember... it might serve as a reference... Thanks!!!

so far - luvin' it. Much better software stability than my previous K850.
Menu speed now ok (r1fa030), it was a laggy on the older s/w versions.
the casing does mark very easily - particularly the bottom left corner when
looking at the screen (diagonally opposite the camera !). Slide has, and is
sweet as the day I bought it.
I reject your reality and substitute my own.

well the Phone is slowly stabilizing with the new firmware and for my the build Quality is crazy good IMO. Ive dropped it out of a 2nd story window and its hardly damaged
got no flex in the slider what so ever and i am often playing catch with it ( with the slider open across a room.)

YES i KNOW I'm putting the phone through hell, but hey its surviving fine by me
taken last month after the fall ( yes i know they suck - but can you see a scratch)

I had the White Gold version of this phone for a day. I hated the thing. Cheap build felt far too toy like terrible speaker the worst i ever heard call volume too quiet music quality dreadful so tinny and yes its quite slow. Good points were fast browser nice screen and menus. Oh and camera crap. Bottom line i dont recommend this phone its the worst Walkman phone i ever had and one of SE worst phones too.

I've got a friend who owns it and she's quite satisfied.
