Arnold,..could the other number be the hardware-version ?

My headset,..on the backside, says R2A. Thats the hardware, I guess. Just like the phones hardware numbers are written behind the battery.

I check my HBH-10, I have the following:

CAH109158_P1AE
R2F
186670
----

wat does above mean? With the above, my auto mode on my T68m(R2A) doesn't always work... sometimes can, sometimes cannot... can anyone comment?

R2F then is the firmware version of the HBH-10.

About the inconsistency in auto mode, sorry but I can't be of help. Powertoburn has better experience here.

ITTAN : Well did actually answer in the other topic on HBH-10.

But yes, there does seem to be some problems. It doesnt work perfectly.

Sometimes it doesnt work when I'm dialling on the phone and transferring sound to headset,..and sometimes I cant answer calls.
This is all in automatic-mode.

I dont recall how good it works in ON-mode, maybe better, I guess ???

My HBH-10 is R2D !! I will try to upgrade it this week and post my experiences to see whether the sound-quality has improved...

BTW: like arnoldc wrote: (after changing name into adgjm) it displays: CAH109158_P1AC and when I pressed YES it shows: R2D

So what *IS* the latest version of the software for an HBH-10?

BTW: the Hardware version on the underside of the headset does not correspond to the sw version. My hardware is R3A, whereas my SW is R2F.
