Have recently got a Sony W960

The phone is amazing, but the one thing that drives me mad is the walkman icon that is always on the screen. it gets in the way of my wallpaper. Please can somebody tell me how to get rid of it.

Thanks

Stu

With either standby application, while on the Standby screen, choose More -> Preferences and choose to Hide the walkman.

Hope that's what your looking for.

Cheers

This is one of the many phones im interested in but can someone tell me something. I read that when the memory on this phone is filling up it starts to slow down the phones operation. Is this true.

I doubt you'd notice a drastic difference.

@ Boba,

I think that holds true for all phones. But would you notice the difference so much if you're filling up the memory card instead of the internal drive?
