I have the n95 8gb. I am on Orange and I have a second line, included in my package (i.e. two numbers, 1 sim card).

Q. Is there a software package that will allow me to record calls, without beeps in the background, when Line 2 rings or for outgoing calls on Line 2?
-I use Line 2 for business and would find the record facility very useful. I have trialled a number of app's which recorded Line 1 calls perfectly. However, none of them see to recognise that Line 2 is ringing.

If this is not possible, then my second question would be...

Q. Of all the call recorder programs out there, which one provides a very simply way of starting recording using short cut keys? - the program must be able to disale the background beeping.

Any feedback, much appreciated.

I use Total Recall from Killer Mobile. It records without beeping and you just let it run in the background and it starts recording automatically. Can't answer about the double sim though since I never tried

I have Total Recall running on the phone at the moment. Unfortunately, it doesn't work on the second line.
-I find occassionally that it does beep. Has this happened with you? What settings do you keep it on and what file type do you record to?
Thanks

I have the N95-1 and I've never known it to beep. I notice that with some s60 phones (mostly E-series) they recommend a lower quality as a remedy to stop the beep.
