I have an Orange W580i, and the keypad has cracked, currently I have it software unlocked on CID52, I don't want them to flash it back to Orange firmware and lock it and upgrade it to CID53, because then it will be useless to me.

Anyone can help me here?

@RLP06

I think that they will only replace your keypad. Unless you specifically request for a firmware upgrade, that is.

Great, do you think I should make a note on there saying "please do not upgrade my firmware?" or take my chances?

I'm thinking they might do it out of spite...

Well go to service center and tell them only to fix the keypad and do a master reset instead of firmware update That should do it
