What are my options for a Saturday job? Don't want to give out leaflets or paper round. I would say I'm hard-working and organised. So what could I do?

Thanks.

Ummm, can anyone else see the words 'illegal child labour' flagging their way to GAME?

As long as an over 18 approves it they are ok. I have been sold alcohol by under 18's in supermarkets but they always get permission.

It's not that, it's just to work in a shop or anything above a paper round, you have to be at least 16. I suspect somehow the manager is paying him 'cash under the counter' until his birthday or something.

18 or not, unless it's booze or ciggies you don't have to be 18 I don't think.

I was selling phone contracts aged 16, because theres no laws against it.

You can sell alcohol in supermarkets under 18 with permission from your supervisor or someone over 18 but not tobacco, well when i worked in JS you had to be 18 to work on the kiosk. I thought you could work at 15 under some law but it's very minimal hours and your entitled to longer breaks.
