Description
Mod: Sony Ericsson UIQ3-smartphones alarm mod
Mod's author: SWmail (aka SW)
Mod's version: 1.0b (4 June 2008)

This mod increase the duration of the alarm from 30s to 2m30s on SE UIQ3 smartphones.
Tested on: P1i (R9K009/GW1)

Installation
- Unlock access to system folders (see http://101swmail010.googlepages.com/uiq3mods)
- Download the archive from http://www.agathosyne.de/files_ext/se_uiq3_alarm_mod.zip
- Copy the file 'C:/Private/101F5027/AlarmServer.ini' from your phone to computer.
- Run se_alarm_patcher.exe, select the file 'AlarmServer.ini' copied from the phone and press "Install".
- Copy the patched file 'AlarmServer.ini' back to your phone (to dir 'C:/Private/101F5027/').
- Immediately restart your smartphone.
- Enjoy and ...

is it possible to make the alarm's volume increase step by step just like K750 (and other SE feature phones) ??
because every morning i JUMP with the loud alarm of my P1 |

-Does this mod work with Handy Clock application?
-Why the 2.30 limitation and not for example 10 minutes?

Yes.

I think that, this is the optimal value for most users. In next Versions i wish make so that users can change it. |

got an error !AgendaServer Reason Code ALARMSERVER today when doing Outlook sync...i will restore my old alarmserver.ini file and see if it corrects it

It does work with P990, though I haven't tested syncing with Outlook.
P990i: A mistake, a curse and a disgrace  So I lowered my expectations and settled for a P1i. I couldn't keep my expectations so low for a long time so now I have an HTC Touch HD  |
