These 2 are so different and you really can't compare them because they are not in the same classifications.. the P990i is for business and N73 for multimedia..

Well, I own a P990i and have used an N73 so I know a bit about both. The essential problem with comparing these devices is that they are meant for different market segments. The P990 is a business phone/PDA while the N73 is a "multimedia computer". The main differences will therefore stem from this fact. Here are a few pros and cons for you to consider before you make your final decision:
SIZE
-the P990i is bigger and heavier.
MULTIMEDIA
-the P990 has a bigger screen and is better for viewing videos;
-N73 is equiped with a better camera (3.2 MP vs 2MP);
-N73 does not have an RSS reader which the P990 comes with. You can find a 3rd party application to do this for the N73.
OFFICE/ORGANISER
-P990 comes with a business card scanner which the N73 does not have;
-P990 comes with full version of Quick Office, which means you can view and edit MS Excel and MS Word documents, while the N73 does not. You can purchase Quick Office for the N73 if you so wish though.
STABILITY
The P990 has stability issues which are addressed by using the latest firmware AND a task manager application, of which Swiss Manager is the best.
So as you can see, your decision on which device to get will depend on what you use your device primarily for. I hope this helps.
You can also check out product reviews of these phones on N73 (http://www.mobile-review.com/review/nokia-n73-en.shtml) and P990 (http://www.mobile-review.com/review/sonyericsson-p990-en.shtml)

@efi
Geezay has already pointed out the pros and cons of both.
As for the sound output through the speakers, N73 is definitely much better. First of all it's stereo (vs mono in P990) and it's much louder and better too.
It's one of the loudest phones I've seen and heard.
But this should not be your primary criteria for choosing between these 2 phones.

Why not? (:
There is an option in one of the phones that i can connect free to internet in public places?
I can install skype?
I really dont know what to choose, i liked p900 but speakers are really important to me

"Slow" or "fast" depends on the phone you compare it to.
I have experienced, that the N73 is very slow and laggy.

The N73 actualy does have an RSS Feed Reader in its Web browser. Both are aimed at different markets. The N73 has both EDGE and 3G, it supports Ngage, has a little bit more RAM on boot (around 22mb), loads of apps, emulators and games for it, 3.2mp camera, dual stereo speakers, stable SYMBIAN OS S60v3 UI and is still recieving regular FW updates from NOKIA.

Dude, I also had a P900 in the past, then P910 and then a P990... Believe me, P990's loudspeaker is no where even near what P900 was in term of either quality or volume... On the other hand, N73's stereo speakers are good and loud, but according to me, the sound output is not as rich as P900 though much better than P990... |
