Why does this show my video files along with ringtones? It wasnt like this before but now all my video files are also shown. When i select them only their sound comes.
I checked the memory card and the videos are saved in the videos folder.

You can use the audio from your videos as ringtones also. I'm assuming it's a series 60 v3 Nokia?

S40 lets you do this too, but as far as I remember, when someone actually rings you on S40 and the newer version of S60, it plays the video back too.

If the video is with a specific size it plays the video and audio. If the file is over the specified size it plays only video as far as I'm aware-providing the video is in the right format!

The ring tones folder is not suppose to show your video files. The problem is that now that folder is just a mess, full of video files (over 200 video files).

It's meant to be like that, on my N81 when selecting a ringtone in profiles there are videos there as well,im guessing all NOKIAs are like that.

Check in Ringtones that's what im trying to say, scroll through your ringtones and you will find some videos there as well

Gucci is correct. If you look in tools> profiles>personalise>ringtones then any videos with a compatable soundtrack will be available as an option. |

It never used to be like this in my phone. I only noticed this after i copied data from my old memory card to another one.
