gprs in Pakistan by Ufone, Surf on PC using GPRS |

Ufone has launched the GPRS services in Pakistan. I have their subscription. I want to find out how to surf the web on PC using Ufone GPRS. Do I need to create a dialup connection in PC? whereas GPRS is always on?
BTW I have R520m and my phone is connected to PC through data cable. I do use Mobilink dataline connection to connect to dial up using regular ISP.
Ufone help line were unable to help me out!! |

r u able to recive international txt msgs on the ufone network yea, i know u r able to recive them on mobalink? |

I did receive a few international SMS messages on Ufone. But I believe they do not have contract with a lot of international companies as opposite to Mobilink.

Ufone GPRS is now stable, though they have still not launched it officially. I use Ufone only for GPRS and most of the time I am on Mobilink.
The biggest advantage that Mobilink has is that everyone in Pakistan is using Mobilink. You cant send message to Ufone from Mobilink and vise versa, secondly the call charges are also higher if you call ufone subscriber from Mobilink. Mobilink coverage is also much better than ufone.

Ufone call charges just 2.88Rs no more taxes total price all in pakistan to any network.So Mobilink have more than 4 RS charges to call even on mobilink.

Paktel launched ringback tones facility name "hi tunes" daily 1Rs charges.
Ufone Started call conferene,call divert,call waiting,screen balance,screen account recharge to its prepaid customers.
Telenor Upcoming features=Web site account,wap site account,call records facility,sms records,other settings .
Warid upcoming new features unknown whith in few weeks.
cant can send and receive mms because many errors like network failur,http errors and others,after more htan 10 tries sometimes i am able to send or receive mms.This all happens due to low GPRS speed.
hey also i have noticed that some times telenor cuts my djuice balance Rs1 or 2.Do u noticed?

Great News.Ufone Started Call Divert on Any number in Pakistan both for prepaid and postpaid customers.Currently its in maintenance so some errors may occour.So now you can transfer calls to any other number like ufone to warid.
