Any body knows how to repair GDFS ?
My K800 just death couse I'm trying to install patch.
I already have the GDFS backup, just don't know how to do it.
I have XS++ 3.1 & SEtool2lite.
No red blinking at infrared port.... |

First try to flash main, because patch damaged main not gdfs(98%)

I try to connect with SEtool2lite, it doesn't detect (press C while connect).
When I press "2+5" i got this log :

You can restore your GDFS where you went to back it up in XS++ (its right above/below it, don't remember the exact position) |

Like I said XS++ can't detect it either. I can't get to that section (Backup GDFS etc.). |

hold 2+5 and flash main just as usual
in setool there's a button write gdfs so choose your backup in misc files window and then press that button and everywhere hold 2+5 not c |

That's strange...
I had such problem but flashng main and then gdfs with setool holding 2+5 helped me try to flash erom first and then main and only then gdfs. To flash erom first download it and then connect phone to setool holding 2+5 and flash erom file as main. Then connect phone again holding that buttons and flash your main and only then repair your gdfs. Everything of this must be done in setool. Hope this will help |

Also be sure that battery is not empty and try to set lower speed of connection phone to pc |

Or try a service cable like cruiser... using COM port and externall battery to revive the phone from the dead... reparing damaged GDFS without backup on db2020 phone like your k800 can be found on www.topsony.com on the english forum...

You've done it before and it works. Maybe I'm not doing it right, or I use wrong tool.
OK.. for the first step...
I have :
- SEtool2 lite
- DCU-60
- EROM file
- GDFS Backup
- Main Firmware+FS
My phone is K800
The problem is SEtool2 lite does not detect my phone by holding 'C'.
I Put GDFS Backup in misc window and holding 2+5 then write GDFS i got 'phoneid error 1, Phone info read error !' in the log.
My question :
Is your phone is DB 2020 ?
Did you use SEtool2 lite or SEtool full version ?
Did you use DCU-60 or service cable ? |

Maybe idiot from me, but is it a possibility restore your fone with pay-serv like DAVINCI or WOTAN are you try ?
Go in they're forum and ask if it is possible.

I have k800(db2020 phone) setool lite. You should start your flashing with flashing main(holding 2+5 of course) and only then gdfs. Other order won't work. |
